Juz 20: Surahs Naml, Qasas and Ankaboot

Before you dive into the actual activities for each surah, spend some time reciting the surah together. In this case, recite the final part of Surah Naml, starting at ayah 60, Surah Qasas, and the first 44 ayahs of Surah Ankaboot. If this is not possible, listen to the surah on a digital device. Since we will be recreating our masjid experience, we be listening to Mishari Rashid on our Quran explorer App.

Surah Qasas

Surah Qasas starts off with the story of Musa (A). Musa (A) is mentioned in many of the surahs, but in Surah Qasas, nearly half of the surah is a recount of his life. So, for this reason, we will focus on an activity about Musa (A).

Musa (A): Order of Events

In Surah Qasas, ayahs 3-40 contain some very important details of the life and message of Musa (A). In this cut and paste activity, children read through the ayahs of the Quran to put the events of Musa (A) life in the correct order.

Memorization

Dua from Surah Ankaboot

This dua from surah Ankaboot is a beautiful dua to memorize. Its a short dua so it should be easy to memorize. You can make the activity a little more fun by having the children compete to see who can memorize it first. The winner gets a small prize.
