Getting the job done, TOGETHER

When sticking the kids in front of a TV or handing them a device isn’t an option, you learn to entertain your kids and get things done. So when I had to put together a drawer chest for the girls room, we decided to do it together when my son and husband were out running errands. Here’s how I included the girls and accomplished the task TOGETHER…My daughters, who are 5 and 8, separated the hardwares, then helped with the assembly. I took care of the screws that required precision and they did the rest. Kids at that age take well to direction and if you make it a habit to involve them in anything you do, they will be more than willing to help. It’s a bonus when the furniture is for them.
